Parks, Play Areas and Public Spaces

PSPO ORDERS

All of the play areas maintained by the parish council are covered under the district councils PSPO = Public space protection order.

DOGS are not allowed on the childrens play areas, or sports pitches. Anyone ignoring this order will be fined

Other areas of the village, anyone who does not pick up their dog mess and dispose of it correctly will also be liable to fines. The parish council have covert cameras and will use them to irradicate this current problem. It is a danger to everyones health! Officers can stop anyone with a dog and ask them to prove they have the means (bags) to pick up their dog mess. If they have not got anything, they again will be issued with a fixed penalty notice.

Ibstock Parish Council maintain the play areas listed below. They are annually checked by ROSPA for safety, and litter picked on a weekly basis by council staff.

All of our Play areas are covered by the PSPO order which makes them DOG FREE ZONES. Anyone who ignores this, will be liable to a fine.

If you notice a problem on one of the play areas, please contact us immediately and we can resolve it.
