Community Events

The annual Remembrance parade takes place on Sunday November 10th 2024.

The parish council organise this event in conjunction with the Rev Hartropp of St Denys Church, Leicestershire and Rutland 4X4 and the Royal British Legion.

It assembles at the Miners Welfare Car park, with the parade leaving at approximately 10.30, going via Leicester Road, Chapel Street and ending in Central Avenue at the war memorial, for a short service and wreath laying ceremony.
